Dr. Coppage was born and raised in Valdosta. He graduated from Valdosta State College with double majors in chemistry and biology. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1973. He did his internship and residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia from 1973 to 1977 at which time he joined Macon GYN/OB Associates. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Fertility Society and a volunteer professor at Mercer University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Bibb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Coppage is married and has one son and two daughters.
